I'm thoroughly impressed. The capital city of East Malaysia has faced developmental stagnation for many years, but today I've finally seen the seemingly impossible achievement right before my eyes. The once miserable and pathetic airport in quaint old Kuching has undergone a massive plastic surgery. Now it takes me about 10 minutes to walk from arrival hall to departure hall (yes, they are connected). Last time it took barely 3. I kid you not, but maybe I was a wee bit exaggerating.

I wonder what kind of wonderment happened within this 1 year while I was back in Singapore. Someone must have shook the government from its near eternal sleep.

Anyway, before I get too technical and political, I just landed about 3 hours ago, now more or less settled down, watched some tv with my grandma. And I think I'll try to lead the peaceful life here in Kuching while I still can.
